Kids and Composting @ Hamilton/SOTA I

Instead of throwing out waste, we will create a composting system that helps to feed our edible garden at the front of our buidling and the two gardens behind our building.

Points

What a great way to reduce, reuse and recycle! Helping our planet is so great and important for the younger generation to learn.

Awesome!!! Any idea how much it would cost to make it and maintain it for a few years?

Yes, this would be so educational for the students and parents. Simple changes like this are necessary for the future of our planet!

@jAcOb sCiaMMaS We are in the process of finding out how much it would cost to make and maintain. This past summer Halley Molstad did a Fruit and Vegetable Plate Waste report at the school. We are using the information from the report along with GROW La Crosse and the Hillview Urban Agriculture Center to find out how best to proceed. Thanks!
