I want to turn an alley in La Crosse into a public art studio for all ability artists. I am seeking money to purchase art supplies. I want to designate certain days as "Alley Art Days". I want people from La Crosse and from out of town to come and make their mark on our city.
Picking a good alley would be important. What locations are you looking at?
Would artists be painting the alley OR painting in the alley?
All artistic abilities can make their artistic mark on our city.
Having a place where people of all abilities are welcome and in contact with one another is so important. Great idea!
I love this idea! Many times these areas turn into tourist attractions. A good first step might be connecting with someone on city council or in local government to determine which alley and which businesses would consider this idea.
