It has been proven via numerous studies that exercise has a positive effect on Mental Well-being. Combine this with exercise outside and this increases the impact. Furthermore, exercising in groups helps to keep people motivated to exercise as well as creating social interaction opportunities. The Bay Vue green (next to the Hillcrest) would be the perfect place to have an exercise class as the coffee shop at the Hill Crest provided a great environment for a post-exercise chat.

1 in 3 of us are effected by mental health issues, most people will know of someone experience a mental health issue, with funding being cut left right and centre its important that social activities are still used in improving Mental well-being.
