Renewable energy

Renewable energy

To promote and fund research and development in renewable energy. The world is already beginning to and will soon bear the full weight of our rapid over consumption of oil, this is inevitable fact and must be accepted in order to move forward. We are now at the brink of falling into irreversible situations which is growingly reflected in the world turmoils. Luckily, we live in a society that once stood for honoring intelligence and innovation. It is time we once again operate with HONESTY

Let's do this type of innovation and garage-based project, and come up with something really effective while being super easy to make, and plan to do in many cities and houses, etc at once. I am imagining a modified fan that is small and whips around quickly even in light winds. For the next step "downstream," I will personally experiment some more with alternators that produce electricity. These all charge batteries, which allow an uninterrupted flow of AC like you're used to.

Gasoline is subsidized by the government, leading to a false perception about it's cost, leading to a distorted market, leading to unsustainable consumption. Ending gasoline subsidies will make alternative, renewable energies that much more attractive, allowing the market to grow and prosper in that field, giving us better quality for cheaper costs.

Solar/Wind power is highly inefficient. Nuclear is great, but has risk. High gas prices are because US gov insists on not using our own resources (along with inflation); we have enough coal to power the US for well over 250 years, and recently discovered enough natural gas in 1 location in TX to power the US for 300 years (by itself). Also: electric cars? The electricity is generated in a power plant...powered by natural gas. I can't help but laugh at the ways people try to be 'green'.

This is true ONLY at the current rate of consumption. Read the passages very carefully, and you will see that it says "at the current rate of consumption, etc". However, this distorts the reality of the situation. The current rate of consumption is increasing at an exponential rate. This coincides with population increase as well. So the reserves that could power our cities (if they were to immediately stop growing) for generations to come may only last one more generation. Watch the link.

What will be the motives of private sector running prison then?
