Stop speeding

Stop speeding

There is a problem speeding in Kirby Drive Telscombe Cliffs, near the children's play area - as there have been no fatalities or serious injury (yet), this area has been left to be a potential source of death (probably a child)

Drivers need reminding constantly about the consequences of speeding - a flashing SID device (smiley face) would help.

We have been refused traffic calming as the area does not reach the benchmark score of 70. We could consider community match incentive, but need at least £3,000 to go towards a speed indicator device at this site, which I believe could deter speeding
