An allotment is too big a commitment for many, but how do we provide acccess to residents to grow food and pollinator friendly flowers? Should free allotment spaces be made available to community groups? Should more local authority land be made available to community groups? Should businesses receive an incentive for giving up some of its space to a community growing project?
Community growing can provide a good source of environmentally sound, healthy, locally sourced food and make this more readily available to local people.
