Establish more community residential homes for persons with disability
Respite care is also very important and currently sorely lacking. Family members of persons with disability need to also care for themselves. This will help the person with disability remain in their own home for longer.
This issue is to be given priority. For long this has not been given priority because of committed funds. This is a right of persons with disabilities - UN Convention. Dear politicians good-will is not enough political-will is needed to commit necessary funds.
